Good Music

I'll admit to hating on Kanye's lyrical stylings, but I will fess up and profess the great deal of admiration I have for the brother to do his own thing in his own way. As I get older, my musical tasts haven't necessarily matured but rather i'm looking for more ways to connect my interest with what I do.

• Here's a nice opinion piece from the Wall Street Journal, entitled, Heedful Hip Hop.
• The Fulton Street Fish Market on South Street in NYC may be moving to POETREE, a Chicago-based group is doing their thing and I'm feeling that. I need to startw riting and performing again.

And it appears that I will be staying here over the weekend and through next week. No Miami for me. May as well...I need some time to get my mind right, find some peace and relaxation, shop, and figure out the next move. And I really, really do not like the prospect of having to rent again. F that...I'm commited that it won't be for too long. I like being a homeowner.
